At Share in the JOY, we know that real change happens when local businesses step up. Not just with donations, but with heart.
That’s exactly what we’ve found in Texas Roadhouse at 1421 Sunset Rd in Henderson. Since 2023, Perry and his amazing team have gone above and beyond to support our mission of bringing JOY to children and families who need it most.
Our partnership began at HoliJOY in 2023, where the Texas Roadhouse team served hot, delicious meals to 172 youth in foster care at our event. For many of these children, it was more than just a meal, it was a moment of warmth, care, and celebration during a time of year that can often feel lonely or uncertain. But their impact didn’t stop there.
In 2024, Perry and his team deepened their commitment by inviting Share in the JOY to take part in their monthly Kids’ Night celebrations. With the support of our nonprofit partners Clark County Family Services Child Haven and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Texas Roadhouse provided free meals and fun experiences for 232 children in Clark County’s foster care system in 2024, and they continue to show up month after month with the same enthusiasm and compassion.
At its core, community is about showing up for one another, and few causes are more deserving than supporting children in foster care. These kids have experienced more than most of us can imagine, and what they need most are consistent reminders that they matter, that they’re not alone, and that there are people in their corner rooting for them. That’s what Texas Roadhouse delivers. Not just food, but connection, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
We are so proud and grateful to partner with a business that not only talks about community values but lives them out through action. Whether it’s helping serve meals at our annual events or hosting kids each month in their restaurant, Texas Roadhouse at 1421 Sunset Rd in Henderson has become a pillar of support for Share in the JOY and the children we serve.
