Empowering JOY isn’t just another event... it’s a movement.

Now in its second year, this one-of-a-kind, workshop-style experience brings together women and their children for a day designed to heal, inspire, and transform.

Attendees step into and rotate through four rooms of empowerment.

1. Confidence & Self-Esteem

2. Self-Care

3. Mental Wellness

4. Financial Independence

Each of these Empowerment Rooms is run by an expert in her field and filled with resources, hands-on activities, and unforgettable moments that remind women of their strength and show their children what it looks like to rise above challenges with courage and determination.

What makes Empowering JOY unique is the community behind it. Female leaders from local nonprofits and across the community share their wisdom through keynote talks, interactive panels, and personal stories. A dedicated resource section ensures women and girls walk away not only inspired, but also connected to the tools and organizations that can support them long after the event ends.

At Empowering JOY, we believe every woman deserves the chance to stand tall, free from what has been holding her back. And we believe every child deserves to see their role model, their mom, their mentor, their champion, walking in that power.

This event doesn’t just create lasting memories; it builds a legacy of resilience, confidence, and leadership in families and across our community.

    Creating Joy through empowerment

Event Details

Date: October 11

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Overview: On October 11, 2025, Share in the JOY will host a transformative event, Empowering JOY, dedicated to positively impacting the lives of women and their children by providing inspiration, support, and resources. This memorable event in its 2nd year will bring together women and their children, offering them tools for empowerment, connection, and growth.

Purpose: To uplift and inspire mothers and their children (ages 10-17) through meaningful workshops and resources tailored to empower each of them to reach their fullest potential.

Attendees: Empowering JOY will welcome women and their children from backgrounds of hardship, including survivors of violence and teenage mothers in the foster care system. We are working with SafeNest, The Shade Tree, SafeHouse and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. The day’s events are filled with opportunities for bonding, learning, and personal growth.

Theme: With a theme of meaningful engagement, the event offers a safe space for mothers to receive guidance and resources, while encouraging thier children to dream big and believe in their potential.

Venue: Held in a welcoming event center closed to the public, Empowering JOY featurs a spacious auditorium for main activities, as well as various breakout rooms for discussion, activities, and focused empowerment sessions.

Event Highlights

Bonding Activities: Engaging discussion, games and activities for participants to strengthen relationships.

Resource Stations: Providing participants with valuable support and guidance to help both women children reach their full potential.

Breakout Sessions: Opportunities for both adults and children to participate in discussions and activities focused on personal development.

Inspirational Speakers: Panel of female leaders who can relate and inspire participants with stories of resilience and empowerment.

Catered Meals: Delicious meals will be provided to foster community and connection among attendees.
